Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation addresses the motor, sensory, and functional deficits caused by conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, or peripheral nervous system. Our therapists are experienced in treating stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological disorders.

Treatment combines task-specific training, gait retraining, balance and coordination exercises, and neuromuscular re-education. We apply principles of neuroplasticity — the brain's ability to rewire itself — to help patients relearn movements and regain lost function.

In-home therapy is especially beneficial for neurological patients, as it allows us to work in the exact environment where daily activities occur, making carry-over of skills immediate and practical.
