Falls are the leading cause of injury in adults over 65. Our balance and fall prevention program uses validated assessments to identify your specific risk factors and designs a targeted program to address them.
Training includes static and dynamic balance exercises, vestibular rehabilitation (when inner ear dysfunction contributes to imbalance), proprioceptive training, strength building for the lower extremities and core, and functional mobility practice.
We also provide environmental assessment recommendations for your home to eliminate hazards, and caregiver training when appropriate. Our goal is to keep you safe, independent, and confident in your movement.
